Our Halloween Charity Bash Raises $$$ for F.U.E.L. Program

In Montgomery County, we have children in our school system who may not be eating between lunch on Friday and breakfast on Monday. That's 67 hours with no food each week.
F.U.E.L. is a food subsidization program that places food directly in the backpacks of these children every Friday afternoon so that they will have something to eat over the weekend.

To help support this worthy cause, Daphne's Portrait Design hosted our Second Annual Charity Halloween Bash. Families were invited to stop by the studio for food, fun and photos! In exchange for a $5 donation to F.U.E.L, guests received a 5x7 photo of their costumed trick-or-treaters in front of our harvest set. Lots of little ghosts and goblins enjoyed crafts, a bounce house and yummy Halloween goodies. Guest names were also entered into a drawing to receive a free 11"x14" portrait at a future session. Congratulations to winner Mandy Greene!

The party was again a success and we are excited to contribute the proceeds to the F.U.E.L. program!

Newborns are so Precious!

Over the last few months I have had the great joy of photographing some of the most precious newborn babies. We have just updated the website and added an entire gallery just for newborns. Here a few that I wanted to share with you.

Halloween Charity Event!

Don't miss the Second Annual Halloween Charity Event! It will be Saturday, October 24 from 10 am until 2 pm. We will have an inflatable, crafts, and snacks! A donation of $5 will be collected in exchange for a 5x7 portrait of your "trick or treater" in front of our special halloween set. Our event benefits F.U.E.L. which provides food for teens. Don't forget to bring a friend and receive a 5x7 gift certificate to use at your next portrait session! We will also have a drawing for a Free Portrait Session and an 11x14! I can't wait to see all of the little ones in their costumes! Babies, Bellies, & Tutus!

Welcome to my blog! This is my very first entry into my new blog. I hope you will check back each month as I update you and all that is going on at Daphne's Portrait Design. Over the last few months I have just gone wild with ordering Tutus and Petti skirts! All the Moms are loving these!
We have also added many fun and unique backgrounds to go with all of our fun tutus. We have a new "tile" wall that everyone is raving about. My last trip to Atlanta, I brought back lots of fun fabrics to use a backgrounds too! I have also just purchased a new software that allows me to create really cool videos!
